A couple of Tuesdays ago a small group from my Photography degree class went out on an adventure. It started off as a pretty grey, drizzly day which did not look good for photographing. So, in the morning we headed to the Auckland Museum and to the Wintergardens for a little looky. When the weather cleared up a bit (in true Auckland schizo style) we drove out west to Bethells lake and beach. There were some incredible sand dunes and plenty of space for us to have fun in. I love the signature black sand of west coast beaches. It just seems to have so much more texture than white sand. I do love swimming at a gorgeous white sand beach though! Ahh makes me long for Summer even more thinking about it!!
Such amazing locations, I love exploring!
