Studying Photography I often need to use models for my work. I love photographing people and working with them makes the whole process just that much more exciting! My family and friends are often roped in as "talent" for my various projects. I'm lucky enough to have three wonderful sisters who have all been a part of my work at some point or another. Thanks team!
These are a few photographs from a school assignment back in 2008 with my younger sis as the model (Oh and my Mum in the last one!). It is funny looking at these photos again, how I took them and how much I have learnt since then. Had to start somewhere though didn't I?

School Work
Throughout school I sold a few of my photographs and entered some in competitions. Here are a few still life shots from 2008/2009.
Photo I took for the 2008 NZ Schools Photography Competition. I entered and won the Secondary AgResearch Section Category entitled 'The Science of Farming'.

WELCOME TO MY BLOG!
I have created this blog to record my journey into the wonderful world of photography and beyond. Right now as I am studying, I enjoy experimenting with photography in different ways, taking every good opportunity that crosses my path and just getting LOTS of practice and experience. I love people and am inspired every day by the people around me, online and also the beauty of the world itself. I have always loved taking photographs but particularly became passionate about it when I took it as a subject at High School. So, I thought I'd give you a little history of my photographic life so far over the next few posts, starting with a few photos from my Sixth Form Photography Folio. I photographed a cute little church near my family's home. Enjoy!
