Sneak Peek September
Well, September is becoming a very busy month for me! (Aren't they all?!) I have so much to show you guys but it is just sitting on the back burner at the moment as I have alot of editing and catching up to do. Last Tuesday we went on a class trip for Uni out to Bethells Lake and Beach. It is gorgeous out there on the rugged west coast, I have some fun pictures to show you. Also I have been working on my project for my Studio class and have done a shoot with Esther. Aaaand, what has kept me very busy last week is that I photographed a couple of days at New Zealand Fashion Week and Fashion Weekend! It was so much fun, very exciting, cannot wait to share a lot more images! Here is a quick pic from the Trelise Cooper Parade, which was absolutely beauiful. More to come! xx

Green Eyes
green |grēn|adjective1 of the color between blue and yellow in the spectrum; colored like grass or emeralds.
Photographs I did with Sophie for the Natural Light Brief. Love the gorgeous green backdrop. Taken in Cornwall Park. Hope your week is going great, I'm off to do a photoshoot this afternoon and have lots of work to do filling up my visual diary. Does anyone else keep a visual diary? I have to for uni, but I think it's a very good way to get all your inspiration and ideas down on paper and all together. What do you think?

Had a bit of a religious/purity theme running through some of this work, hence the cross. Adds a bit of interest yes?

Get Smart
Around the end of July I photographed at our church's youth conference- Get Smart. It was a busy, exciting week with lots of incredible moments. I love being involved in stuff like this and using my passion and talents to serve others! Was lots of fun too!

The Colour of Nature
I love that I have so many beautiful locations around me to create stunning backdrops and environments for my photographs. I adore glowing, natural light, you cannot replicate it!
These are some of the other photos I took while working on my Natural Light Brief for University. Esther is the model.

Fine Print
For my elective this semester I chose to do: Fine Photographic Print (Digital). So I had to produce a series of work, print the photographs properly myself and present them professionally. I love details, macro work and using objects to tell a story in Photography. I photographed a bunch of beautiful things. The original idea stemmed from looking through a pile of old letters my Mum kept from my Dad that he sent to her before they were married when he was overseas. So I wanted to capture ideas of love, travel, memories and keepsakes. I love the kind of soft, peaceful look of the final results. Here are a couple of images from my book.

This is the book I made to present my photographs in. Ooooh!

Au Naturel
Well, the first half of 2011 has been one of new opportunities, experiences, being busy, working hard, building relationships and continuing to shape the course of my career.
As far as University goes, I tried to push myself this semester, not just to get better grades, but to create work I am proud of and that reflects me!
Thank-you to everyone who helped me achieve this, especially my gorgeous models for been so patient with me- Kaitlin, Brigid, Esther, Sophie and Suzi. We had lots of fun and you're all just wonderful!
These are the final photographs I submitted for my natural lighting brief. I will show you some more photos from the separate shoots over the next few weeks! I also have lots more stored up to show you, since I've had a huge break between posts... Lots to look forward to!

Busy bee
Wow it has been ages since my last post! Turns out I'm making a horrid blogger so far... It has been a crazy time lately, uni is very full on, with all my huge assignments due over the next few weeks. Eeek! I've been working lots and all my days seem to merging into each other at the moment. So much to do! Hopefully I will become a bit more consistent when I finally get some downtime. I have lots of stuff I'm working on which I cannot wait to show you. Hope everything's peachy in your neck of the woods. Here's a pretty picture I took :)
